Approach
Our client, a leading insurance company, wanted to raise the bar and ensure their country CEOs had the growth mindset, innovation, and people focus needed to transform their businesses, energise their teams, and deliver aggressive growth targets.
We created a Critical Experience Profile for their CEO role. This was combined with our Executive Growth Leader Assessment, which includes multiple assessments and an interview to gain insights into a leader's growth capabilities.
We used these to:
Assess and Develop Internal Candidates
We assessed internal candidates to identify readiness for a CEO role. Regardless of whether they were selected, each leader received feedback to accelerate their development.
Assess External Candidates
We assessed external candidates to gain more insight into their capabilities and readiness. This allowed a direct benchmark of internal versus external candidates.
Accelerate CEO Transitions
Leaders selected for CEO roles were provided transition and development coaching to help them adapt quickly to the role and have positive impact.
Results
Based on this process, the company experienced several important results:
Accelerated Revenue Growth. All CEOs selected dramatically increased country revenue growth YoY.
Accelerated Digital Innovation. Innovation increased in these countries, especially in terms of adoption of digital solutions.
Accelerated Readiness. Leaders not selected were able to continue to develop and some of these have now been placed in CEO roles.
