The Challenge

Our client reorganised into a division structure to drive higher performance. But there were challenges: culturally diverse teams, multiple continents, and business units that were accustomed to doing things their own way.

To succeed, they wanted to create an “aligned mind-set.” This would determine how they operate and create a common set of behaviours to achieve excellence in the business. They had to do this quickly to realize planned business benefits.


By taking time to align the organisation, the division achieved its results, both in terms of performance as well as in the behaviours it wanted to drive.


Structure implemented successfully; group achieved new, aggressive performance targets.


Enabled employees to use the new governance framework and make decisions aligned with strategy.


Engagement of employees improved across countries despite impact of structure change.


  • Leader Engagement. Designed series of engagement workshops to involve top 80 managers to define how to operate in new division to achieve strategy.
  • Gamification. Used our MOSAIC methodology to create a fun board game that educated employees about the organisation, desired behaviours, and how to make decisions to achieve business objectives.
  • Toolkits. Created custom tool kits to help leaders cascade transformation throughout the organisation. Licensed Organisation Solutions’ IP to company for further use.
